The Brief
Hawthorn approached WeAreDigital to develop a website that would assist the club in recruiting a record number of members for the 2010 season.
The Solution
A website that provides two clear paths to membership, encouraging existing members to renew and prospective members to take the next step and sign-up.
WeAreDigital's Content Management System (IamCMS) enables the team to update all site content so the Hawks can refresh the content each membership year.
With a wide range of membership types available, a Flash based ‘Help Me Decide’ application guides prospective members through a series of questions to help them decide on the most appropriate membership based on where they live, how many games they want to watch live and the type of seating they are interested in.
My Involvement
After pitching on and winning the business, I was responsible for managing the design and development teams to deliver the project in time for the 2010 season.
Responsibilities included:
- Project planning and specification
- Information architecture, wireframes and prototype development
- Resource planning and coordination
- Managing design and development process
- User acceptance and platform testing
- Training the client on the CMS
- Post launch support
