Sportsco, a prominent name in the Australian sports retail industry, has been in business for over 30 years, offering a wide range of sports apparel and footwear through its own stores and over 20 franchise locations.
In 2017, Sportsco sought our expertise to design and build a new website on Magento 2, with the vision of creating a Digital Flagship store that would not only represent their brand online but also support their extensive franchise network by driving customers into physical stores. A crucial aspect of this project was ensuring robust post-launch support for the website.
THE SOLUTION
To address Sportsco’s needs, we developed a fresh, mobile-first website that prioritised fast performance and seamless user experience. Our focus was on creating a platform that provided comprehensive visibility of stock levels across the entire franchise network, ensuring customers could easily find and purchase the products they wanted, whether online or in-store.

- Display the full range of products available, highlighting new product drops and colourways
- Check store stock levels across the entire franchise network and email a store
- Additional payment methods with AfterPay, ZipPay and OxiPay
- Integration with ERP system (Magenta) for syncing stock levels, prices, orders and order statuses
- Integration with DotMailer for managing trigger and system email campaigns

ONGOING COLLABORATION
Our work with Sportsco didn’t conclude with the launch of their Digital Flagship store. We continue to partner with them on an ongoing basis, providing essential maintenance services and collaborating on new projects designed to enhance the user experience and increase conversion rates.
